"Staycation" 2011

So, we decided to save some money this summer and stay home for vacation. It was everything a vacation should be. It was a great time to reconnect as a family, relax, have fun, and forget about everything but each other. We spent the week much like any other week. We still did school, but only for 3 days, and Daddy got to help with lessons, which made it all the more exciting! We went swimming at Mimi and Papa's (while they were out of town for an actual vacation), went bowling, went "to the show," and took advantage of the back to school sales at the mall. Oh, and Toby got his first "real" hair cut. I usually cut his hair, but mama needed some professional help! He didn't cry a bit, which is not the case when I do it.
