First Day of School

Last week was our Vacation Bible School at church. We were up early every morning so we could get to church by 8:30 and I could set up the outside activities. We weren't late one day. Today we overslept, ate pancakes, got dressed, and started school at 9:30. (I always let the kids pick breakfast for the first day of school, but it's pretty much cereal from here on out.) The house is a wreck from the week-end and it is obvious that getting back into school is going to take some getting used to. House work is always after school work. Nick also started two-a-days today and I had planned on getting up early with him so he could eat a good breakfast before heading out into the heat. Sorry, babe! I'll try again tomorrow.
