The love you shared when you took those vows 40 years ago,

 through the years has grown and grown.

For better or for worse, through good times and bad,

Many have looked at you and wished that kind of love they had.

Laughter and tears, sunshine and rain,

You didn't give up and now look at what you've gained.

What started with two people, a match made in heaven,

Has now multiplied to eleven!

I want to thank you for the example you are,

Your commitment and faith will be passed down to generations afar.

I thank God for the memories we've made in the past,

And hope the next forty years don't pass by so fast!
